We'll keep you updated with progress on all of the above. If you require a window sticker or two please comment below and you'll be informed when they're available, which should be about ten days or so.

In the meantime we're not resting on our laurels...

We're busy finalising the business plan, making plans to raise more funds to reach our £300,000 target, seeking out ideas for fundraising events and wondering what we used to do in our spare time before this project started.

Earlier this week we became guests of the management committee at the King's Arms, Shouldham. They shared their experience and some sage words about running a community pub. They kindly showed us around the place - including a grand tour of the cellar - and a few of us got to sample the excellent food and selection of beer they serve. At times it was difficult to hear each other over the chatter of other customers. This was a reminder of what a pub with a warm atmosphere could be like. One pub, but many different places according to the time of day.

We wait...

For the day the Crown will be able to follow in their lead and meet the needs of our community.
